Paddling a SUP

We often get new paddlers for our Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) adventures, I for one really enjoy sharing Albuquerque from the water. As we paddle down the river, it is a time for relaxation, exploration, and loads of fun, not to mention the re-centering of your internal chi.

We have recently shot a how to video on the  front stroke, the main paddle stroke used for propulsion, on a SUP.

Check out the video tutorial below. If you are interested in a more indepth paddling experience, we offer 2 hour jump start SUP lessons every Wednesday evening at the Sandia Lakes Recreation Area, to schedule a class or reserve a SUP for your own self guided Rio Grande Tour, give us a call 505-717-2526.

We look forward to seeing you on the water!
