2020 the season of What the...?

2020 The season of What the…??

This has been an unusual year to say the least, Covid-19 closed everyone down, the river dopped, and everyone wanted to get outside.  Lately we have noticed the usual slowdown that comes with the loss of daylight and school kicking back into session. Here at MST Adventures we are grateful for this season, going from fundraiser T-Shirts during the state mandated closure of the business to renting gear and finally being able to run classes and tours.

Most of all we are grateful for everyone who booked rentals, tours, and classes with us. We have shifted a lot of things around here at HQ and are finding solutions to problems we did not even know we had. Recently we were featured in a blog post from Visit ABQ in their Solo Traveler’s Guide to Albuquerque, check it out!

You may have noticed our new website that cropped up mid-summer and our new online store. Though it is small you can find what we have available and get the hottest river gear. We have brought in Flex Fins and Click Fins from SarusSurf for your hard boards, Neck Gators for sun and “covid” protection, and our World Famous Guide Shirts from SL Promo Solutions, and packaging & promotional stickers from Sticker Mule (who make some of the best outdoor stickers around in our opinion). You also may have noticed we have stocked New STAR Phase SUP’s, and paddles.

We are looking to bring more online as we prepare for next season with the hope to hit the water paddling. October will be our finial month of guided paddling if the water holds.

But what else? Well, we have teamed up with a local bike shop, The BikeSmith, and are bringing their classes to you. You can call our office to book mountain bike skills classes and small group clinics (<5 people), along with guided tours in the Albuquerque Metro Area. They operate under special permit of the Cibola National Forest and National Grasslands. So, if you recently found your old bike or a new to you whip, give us a call to book your next skills clinic!  Need a tune up before class? They offer a mobile bike service as well. You can reach Gator at 505-Bicycle !

So, until next time Cheers and Be Well!
