Mountain Biking Instruction

How long have you wanted that new Santa Cruz, or that new Kona? Now that you have it, are you looking for someone to ride with, learn new skills and gain the confidence to explore on your own? MST Adventures can help you acquire the skills you need to ride with confidence, and share your passion with others.

MST Adventures offers mountain biking instruction that is based on an IMBA structured curriculum and trail ethics. We proudly offer fundamentals and trail riding skills clinics for young riders (14 and up) through adults. Our classes and clinics range from 4 hours (half day) to 8 hours (full day) depending on the class or clinic being taught and the location. We enjoy teaching all skill levels of students.

Equipment needs of the student: Our fundamental skills clinic / instructional classes can be taken on any style of off road bike from your first "Huffy" to your hard earned "Moots". All we require from our students is that you have a tire repair kit, flat pedals, and water for our classes. As our class offerings advance and your riding needs change, so do the requirements for bikes and gear during our classes/clinics. Our full and multi-day trips to Northern New Mexico, Colorado, and Utah require a minimum of front suspension, personal bicycle repair skills, and experience.

Expressing interest in our classes is the first step in developing and advancing your riding skills. Call or email us for a current list of classes and required equipment.

We provide IMBA Certified Bike Instruction, through our cycling partner, The Bike Smith. Please follow this link for more information and to book a lesson with Corey.

Our guides and instructors are certified through the International Mountain Bike Association, or IMBA.
